Chamber Project St. Louis and Gateway Greening invite you to a garden concert of music exploring through sound what supports us and keeps us moving forward. In STRUT, American composers Shelley Washington and Coleridge-Taylor Perkinson dig into the diversity of America’s rich cultural history and the grounding our roots provide, enabling us to grow. Iranian-American composer Niloufar Nourbakhsh honors the depths of human strength when faced with the horrors of war and the music of Mozart reminds us of the power of beauty and joy.
