The power of memory, music, and justice bring us together with the St. Louis Kaplan Feldman Holocaust Museum where we present a concert of music spanning generations of tradition and innovation. In the first half, we honor two composers murdered during the Holocaust and explore a new work from a young composer processing recent events inextricably linked to the past. Following intermission, we will explore the museum’s special exhibit, “The Artist Who Captured Eichmann” through the music of Argentinain born composer Osvaldo Golijov. The concert closes with beloved old tunes from the classical and klezmer repertoire.
