Our final concert of the season embodies two of our core pillars as an organization, collaboration and preforming music written by women. Each composer will be linked through story or style to an artists and a piece of art in the Museum’s collections. Museum curators and will join us to narrate this unique program! Free tours of the SLAM collection June 1 and May 31 coordinate with this program.

We are thrilled to return as the Ensemble in Residence for the Webster University Department of Music’s Wet Ink program. This initiative provides student composers an opportunity to work with a professional ensemble, culminating in a public performance. After an initial reading of the string quartets in January, students were able to edit their works. On April 5, we will rehearse them and you are invited into the process!

Free
Open seating/timing. Come for what you can between 4:00-6:00pm.

Final performance will be April 28 at 7:00pm at the Community Music School.
