AMERICAN WOMEN IN THE ARTS FESTIVAL EVENT

Our final concert of the season embodies two of our core pillars as an organization, collaboration and preforming music written by women. Each composer will be linked through story or style to an artists and a piece of art in the Museum’s collections. Museum curators and will join us to narrate this unique program! Free tours of the SLAM collection June 1 and May 31 coordinate with this program.

Light-filled colors from Americana, Russia, Night, and Below the Sea come together to create a mosaic of sounds for harp, flute, viola, and saxophone. Note: This concert is in the Chicago-land area.
